Children’s Book House

The Children’s Book House in the Altonaer Museum is one of the few places in Germany where you can see original illustrations from books for children and teenagers. A series of changing exhibitions showcases the works of renowned illustrators in the Children’s Book House. With a special programme of workshops for children and courses for adults, it is not just an exhibition space, it is a living and vibrant space for book culture. The Children’s Book House also offers regular readings and book presentations as a forum for networking and promoting Hamburg’s book artist scene.
