In a special exhibition, the Warehouse District Museum presents photos by Manfred Stempels portraying the Speicherstadt City Hall – as the historic administrative building of HHLA Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG is traditionally called. The photos date from 1980 and show both the facades and unknown insights into the building. Its facades are designed in the neo-renaissance style. The interior, on the other hand, already features the then-current forms of Art Nouveau.
