FAQs for a visit with family at Kultur Kontor Hamburg

What can we expect?

Here you’ll find out how you (and your children) can enjoy the exhibition. If you have any further questions about visiting the exhibition, please feel free to contact us.

Can my child bring a water bottle or snack box inside?

Yes! Water in your own water bottles or snacks may be consumed in the foyer, but not in the exhibition space.

Are there lockers?

Yes. However, you do not need to check in bags or backpacks containing items for the children.

Can I bring a stroller inside?

Yes. There is a parking area in the foyer.

 

Are there elevators or ramps? Are the pathways at ground level?

The foyer and exhibition space are accessible at ground level from Klosterwall.

Can visitors touch the exhibits?

That depends on the specific exhibition, and there will be corresponding signs within the exhibition.

Is there a playground?

No.

Where can visitors breastfeed in privacy?

Unfortunately, we do not have a separate room for breastfeeding. There are seating areas in the foyer that can be used if necessary.

Where can I change a baby’s diaper?

There will be a changing table in the restroom.

Is it okay to be loud?

You may be as loud as you like, as long as it does not disturb other guests. We ask that you be considerate of others.

Are there places to sit?

There are various seating areas in the foyer of the Kultur Kontor.

We need a break. Can we come back in later?

Yes, admission to the Kultur Kontor Hamburg is free.
