On Board at PEKING Guided Tours

Guided tours can be booked again in spring 2026

Please contact us regarding your preferred date and time. Feel free to use our digital form or drop us an email: info@deham.shmh.de. The tours last approximately 1 hour.

aBOUT OUR TOURS

  • Please arrive at the ticket office directly in front of the PEKING 15 minutes before the tour begins.
  • The PEKING is currently not accessible by wheelchair. For this reason, we advise people with limited mobility not to take part in the tours. Walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and similar aids cannot be brought on board.
  • For safety reasons, sturdy footwear is required during all tours. Flip-flops, slippers, pumps, and comparable shoes are not permitted.
  • The tour costs €15 and includes admission to the German Port Museum. Participation is free of charge for children and young people under the age of 18; however, prior registration is required.
  • The number of participants per tour is limited to 15.
  • For safety reasons, only visitors taller than 1.20 m may take part in the tours.
  • Please contact us at least two weeks in advance.

Der Neubau des Deutschen Hafenmuseums sowie die Restaurierung und Ertüchtigung des Liegeplatzes und die Sanierung der Viermastbark PEKING werden von dem Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien aufgrund eines Beschlusses des Deutschen Bundestages mit insgesamt bis zu 185,5 Millionen Euro und der Neubau von der Behörde für Kultur und Medien der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg mit weiteren bis zu 98 Millionen Euro gefördert.
